Cold coming on. Sneezing.
Something strange going on with my left leg. First noticed it a day or so ago when it felt weak and I near collapsed when putting weight on it. I noted it, and it went away as these things tend to do. This morning, as I was walking home, I had the same sensation, perhaps slightly stronger, also in the left leg.
While the first episode resulted in a weakness promoting collapse on the left, the period from this morning was just a sense of weakness, and some difficulty in the stride. I do not remember a sense of collapse on the left, just a strange, unexplained new sensation with some similarity to the prior event.
Now, tonight, I have experienced the same thing again. This time it is once more associated with a sense of collapse on the left. It is only noticed when weight bearing. I notice it when standing but it is most evident when in motion. Was descending the stairs, and it was very evident. I feared collapse on the stairs and came down very slowly, holding on to supports.
There is no sense of muscle vibration, or any of the prior CTE/ALS symptoms. There are no shooting pains such as I will get in my upper left arm. It is a difficult to describe the feeling. It is definitely present. I do not think I am imagining it.
The above image is from November 15th. After a long period in remission, the wound is back. Unable to explain this event. Do not know if this, and the leg problems, are related. No recent changes in diet. I have actually been light on the walks until this morning when I went to the copy shop and post office for a 7 mile trip. The prior two days were spent crafting submissions and I was largely sedentary.
Something strange this way comes.
