SHARPER, HARDER.

Was contemplating going to bed before this hit. Was feeling very sleepy and restful. Now I am wide awake. House temp is 68 F. I am wearing a thermal undershirt, a street shirt, and a fleece jacket with a pair of fleece pants. I feel warm. There is no other sign of discomfort apart from the jolts of pain. Outside temps is 36 F, 1013.3hPa and falling. Dinner was home made celery soup. I have made this before with no form of reaction.

A third worse than the other two.

I last experienced this in early September but it was then on the right side. I was very fearful of its return. The pain, when it hits, is short, sharp, and stabbing, and then it becomes worse. I cower at the memory of it. In September I was contemplating searching out a source of marijuana as a means of alleviating the pain. Over the counter analgesics have no effect. The interest in THC as an analgesic came when I searched for the Ghost in My Brain on Amazon and noticed a book on THC as a “natural” pain reliever. A friend talked sense into me and I abandoned the idea. To be more accurate, the pain disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared. One day it was present and I was withdrawn, and fearful. The next day, or the next week, it was gone and completely forgotten. Until tonight.

01:54:17
A sort of triple shock. Three pulses very close together in rapid fire formation.

01:55:10
A double pulse.
01:57:31
A sort of double double pain pulse. Maybe I have Tim Horton disease.
02:53:25
I am trying to make funny but it doesn’t help. Pain is now coming in continuous bursts of three, four or more pulses in a single ongoing sequence. When it hits my entire body starts to jump with the effect of it, or in sharp reaction to the pain itself. No sleep tonight.
