Up at 0930 and again tackled the proposal. In the past few days I have had a great deal of difficulty with this project and have accomplished little or nothing. Truly the only thing I have going for me is my incredibly stubborn persistence, the fact that I am unwilling to give up, unwilling to surrender to my injured state, unwilling to exclude the possibility of recovery.

Tonight I sent out my first communication in regards to Facticity. My first pitch to a prospective — I am not sure what term to use here. They would not be a client. Or a sponsor. I am not even sure they would qualify as a participant. I have no rules, or guidelines, for any of these entities; no definitions have been formulated.

Re Cycling
One of the reasons that small business is the greatest generator of new jobs is that small business is most responsive to the business cycle. The Gargantua Computer Corp was like a massive battleship; it took years for it to change course. Even faced with a recognized problem there was no way for it to effect an immediate change. Everything had to be planned two years or more in advance (looking back I can now see early evidence of the decision to terminate our work group, a variety of clues that I overlooked, or misinterpreted, at the time).
