The corporate world employs a concept known as zero based budgeting. You cannot simply take the past year’s expenditures, add an incremental dollar amount to accommodate newly costed programs, and throw in an allowance for annual inflation, and call that your budget.

Belated Happy Valentines
Saw Dr H on February 13th and Dr D on February 14th (a belated Happy Valentines shout out to you both!). I count myself extremely fortunate to have access to both of these health professionals. I owe each of them a huge debt, one that I doubt I can ever adequately describe, or fully repay.

Ideas At Work
In a prior post I presented a new rule. Whenever I make a blog entry that mentions depression, or feeling down, I must then investigate the reasons for feeling this way. My reasoning is that if I learn to identify the triggers for depression then I may be able to avoid those triggers.
