I appear to be be faced with an uphill struggle. But first the good news. On Wednesday I filed my first job application. The job was posted on a portable sign outside a grocery store. It was first spotted two days earlier when I was on my way to see a doctor.

Nightmare
Sunday night I woke around 3 am due to a nightmare. I do not remember the actual dream content. After waking, I found myself focused on the the night of the accident and the fact that any amount of delay, or change in event timing, and the accident likely would not have occurred. If I had delayed in finishing breakfast. If I had been slow to put on my winter boots. If I had decided to go upstairs one last time. If I had fumbled with the exterior lock and dropped my keys in the snow. If I had let the car warm for another 30 seconds before departing. If the woman at the corner had not started the walk signal.

CCN in Focus
Saw Dr D yesterday. At our last session she scored a test. This test indicates I have moderate Asperger’s. Don’t know enough about Asperger’s to have any feelings one way, or another. I think it likely that if I had answered the test battery in “pre-accident mode” the results might have been different. I do know I may have pulled my punches on this instrument. One question stands out.
