The last few hours were spent doing taxes. I am left with a sense of being overwhelmed, of being unable to come to grips with the information required. There is a sense of “being out of it,” of being disconnected, of being much less effective and capable than I have been in the past, a mismatch between my innate sense of my abilities and the perceived actual day to day expression of those same abilities.

Pompeii Moments Review
In the course of attempting to perform the simple task of pulling interesting nuggets from the AL, I became sidetracked into doing a full file clean-up, moving materials from the AL into other files. This soaked up two hours. It is now getting late and I have not accomplished a key task that I wished to complete this evening.
RI – Pompeii Moments
Since the accident I have kept a continuous Accident Log (AL). This is used to store random observations of my behaviour, in addition to possible solutions to injury related problems. The Accident Log provides a running record of difficulties as they are encountered.
In trying to get a grip on what is bothering me, I went back to the start of February and reviewed the AL for relevant notes. This is what was found.
