Had the realization that I am like one of those men pushing a shopping cart around town. The cart is filled with an assortment of rubbish and bags, cast offs and artifacts, the person propelling it is dressed in a rough and uncaring way. In his own mind he may believe he is travelling around town with his possessions loaded aboard a pick up truck. But in truth he is destitute, a vagabond pushing a cart of shambolic debris.

Return to the World
After dealing full time round the clock with legal issues, I now return to the world to discover that part of China has blown up, that part of Japan is about to blow up, and that the largest wildfires in recorded history are racing across the American west. Almost come to the belief that it would be better to return to cranking out legal motions.

Drooling With Crayons
Up at 0430.
Still very down. Rudderless. Uncertain. Lacking focus. Getting up in the morning and confronting the need to deal with a document, or project demand, creates goal, focus and direction. It exercises me, animates me. Gives me reason to feel I am whole, active, responsible, capable.
