Random Investigation – Rewards

This is a random investigation (RI). In the attempt to understand my own behaviour, I am starting from a single point of interest and seeking to follow the thought path in whatever random direction it takes me. This RI commenced on encountering the following text on a web site:

mTBI Diagnostics – Hearing

A key issue in the diagnosis of mTBI is the identification of clinical markers that may be used to ensure an accurate diagnosis of the injury. The classical diagnostic tool remains the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS). It is however, known that it is possible for an individual to suffer neurological insult and remain asymptomatic. It is also known that it is possible for an individual to suffer neurological insult and remain unaware of the injury due to a lack of knowledge of brain trauma, of its manifest symptoms, a misinterpretation of the associated signs and symptoms, or due to cognitive masking associated with the injury itself.

Structure My Time

One of the big advantages of the TAQ submission process is that it has helped structure my time. In the morning I would rise and encounter a half finished document which would be completed before continuing with the creation of the next submission. At night, I would go to bed with a half finished document ready and waiting for me to complete in the morning.
